About
Jeremy Vanderhal
Jeremy Vanderhal has over 23 years of aviation experience, starting with a helicopter private license he earned while in high school. From there he attended the US Air Force Academy where he majored in Aeronautical Engineering and taught cadets how to fly gliders. After graduating as a distinguished graduate from USAF pilot training and fighter training, Jeremy flew the F-16C fighter jet before transferring to the MQ-1B unmanned aircraft, or remotely piloted aircraft. Jeremy deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of the MQ-1B mission and became an instructor/evaluator pilot. He was then selected for the prestigious USAF Test Pilot School where he flew over 40 types of aircraft in a year. Upon graduation he took command of an isolated detachment of military and civilian pilots and engineers to conduct flight testing on advanced unmanned aircraft. He later returned to the USAF Test Pilot school to teach the next generation of test pilots and test engineers the flight test techniques they would need to succeed. Jeremy then left active duty to join the California Air National Guard flying the F-15C. He also joined the Federal Aviation Administration to become a flight test pilot. In that role he was responsible for certifying aircraft under 14 CFR Parts 21, 23, and 25, and he specialized in the developing field of civil type-certification for unmanned aircraft. Jeremy's extensive knowledge and experience working for the FAA in this new field gives him the skills necessary to help get your aircraft through the complex process of certification efficiently and quickly.
